Robin Hobb's Infrequent and Off Topic Blog

Going to Wondercon?

A selection of Robin Hobb books, including the Dark Horse comics, illustrated editions from Penguim Random House, and a selection of the Trade Paperbacks from Realm of the Elderlings series.

Well, we only finished with Emerald City Comic Con, and now we are prepping for Anaheim and Wondercon!

Wondercon runs from March 26, Thursday to March 29th at the Anaheim convention center.  I haven't visited a Wondercon before, so I'm hoping to meet a lot of new reaaders and writers.

You will be able to purchase books for signing there, but I'm always happy to sign any books  you bring from home.  All three volumes of the Dark Horse graphic novels of Assassin's Apprentice are now available, so I hope to see many of those.  And now that the Rain Wild Chronicle covers from Harper Collins have matching art with the Penguin Random House trade paperbacks, I hope readers will want to complete a matching set.

My schedule as I know it now is below but please be aware that convention schedules change.  It's safest to consult their schedule when you arrive.

Saturday, 3/28  11:30  Room 208

FANTASTIC FLIGHTS.   This panel will be moderated by MYSTERIOUS GALAXY .

Panelists (Besides me!)  LaDarion Williams (Author, playwright, film maker), ND Stevenson  (Author and Illustrator, Nimona), Petra Lord  (author, Queen of Faces) and Charlie Jane Anders. (author)

The title of our panel pretty wide open, so please bring us some good questions!  I suspect there will be a signing session afterwards, and at a guess, it will be in the Autograph Area.

Sunday, 3/ 29   11-noon

Spotlight Panel   Robin Hobb, moderator Kat Ogden

As you might guess, this is a spotlight on my works and career, ably moderated by Kat Ogden.  I suspect we will throw this open to questions after about 15 minutes.  Afterwards, I will sign from 12;30 to 1:15 Autograph Area AA01.   Bring any and all Robin Hobb books  or the Graphic Novels or comics from Dark Horse Comics.

As you can see, I don't havec an intense schedule, so I'm looking forward to attending panels, wandering the merchandise rooms and meeting new people.  If you see me in the hall and want something signed, don't hesitate to stop and chat.  That's what conventions are all about.

I hope to see you there!

Robin
