Utopiales Schedule
The anticipation is building! So I’m working very hard to get ahead on the writing so I can take a break from it for Utopiales!
From October 29 to November 3, I’ll be a guest of Utopiales in Nantes, France. I’ve never been to this gathering before, but I’ve certainly heard a lot about it!
This is my schedule as I know it so far:
Utopiales Schedule
October 29 at 6.30 pm : opening ceremony with a concert, a movie and a cocktail.
October 30 / 7:30 to 8:30 : a conference about fantasy and folklore
October 31 / 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm : a conference about web and american presidential elections
November 1st / 4 pm to 5 pm : a conference about Robin Hobb and works
November 1st at 7.30 : the award ceremony
November 3 : departure from Nantes by plane at 7.20 am
There will be also dedications on the books shop
Allevents at Nantes Event Center
As you can see, there are plenty of gaps in the schedule, which I hope to fill with coffees, lunches and dinners with friends, old and yet-to-be-met. And I hope I’ll have a bit of time to explore Nantes as well! I’ve been told the hotel is right on the event site, so that sounds very convenient.
Well, off to put my nose to the grindstone (there’s a horrific image) so that I’ll have my work in good order before I go off to play!
