Fool’s Quest in the second book in the Fitz and the Fool Trilogy. It continues the tale begun in Fool’s Assassin. After many years apart, and with no word from the Fool, Fitz has built a new life for himself with Molly at Withywoods. It seems that their peaceful life will be complete when they finally welcome the child they have both longed for. But such is not to be. In remarkable circumstances, the Fool re-enters Fitz’s life and as he always has done, throws it into utter disorder.
Fool’s Quest picks up the tale of what happens when these two long time friends are reunited in a dire situation, and set at cross purposes to one another.
“Hobb knows the complicated workings of the wayward human heart, and she takes time to depict them in her tale, to tell her story sweetly, insistently, compellingly. . . . A book meant to be inhabited rather than run through.”—The Seattle Times
“[FitzChivalry Farseer is] one of the best characters in fantasy literature.”—Fantasy Book Review
On August 11, we will launch Fool’s Quest from University Book Store in Seattle, Washington. Meet us there at 7 PM for a reading followed by a Question and Answer session. Books can be purchased the night of the signing, or pre-ordered for a personalized autograph if the reader is not able to attend.
As always, I am happy to sign any books you bring with you, but if you have more than three, I will sign the first three and then ask you to join the line again. This gives everyone a chance to get at least 3 books signed in a timely fashion.
I’m looking forward to another lively launch at University Book Store! I’ll hope to see you there.
