Had a lovely time at Imaginales in Epinal!
I think one of the nicest aspects of Imaginales is that the whole city of Epinal participates. There were fanciful paintings on the restaurant windows, special displays at the museums and a general air of celebration. As in the past, the booktent was pitched on the riverbank, and we had not one, but TWO Magic Mirror venues for our panels and readings. This year, Imaginales included high school and elementary students in their awards. The participation by kids and teens was wonderful to see. In all, it was a lively and inspiring celebration that continues to grow every year.
And now we have returned to Paris.
Tomorrow will be a day for interviews, and then an evening signing at the Mont-Pernasse FNAC.
