Home again, Home again, to Holiday time!

Because I need a little Christmas, right this very minute! No, seriously, I do! I’m already missing all the new friends and old from SupaNova and I need to cheer myself up as I gallop on toward wrapping up the final chapters of Fool’s Quest.

So, regardless of what holiday you are celebrating, or even if you are not celebrating any holiday, I’ve got some little reminders for you.

The first is about Worldbuilders. This is a lovely charity created by fantasy’s very own Patrick Rothfuss. It benefits Heifer International, a charity that helps people become self sufficient by giving them small livestock such as chickens and goats. Or a water buffalo! Donating to this in someone’s name is a cool gift, but if you want that person to have a box to open, then consider any of the items being auctioned to benefit the charity. Find those items on ebay at http://www.ebay.com/sch/worldbuilders/m.html?nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3686

What else? Well, if you live in the UK (and this is UK only and that is how life is!) and you are giving or receiving an iPad or iPhone with IOS8 on it, then you will get some free iBooks right along with it. There are eight possible books, but of course the one you want is Assassin’s Apprentice!
Now if you live in the US, you get a completely different but equally wonderful selection of free iBooks! So no whining!

And finally, because I seem to get a lot of requests this time, please remember that I don’t personally sell books or ship them from my home. I’m the writer but not the bookstore. But you still can get an autographed book if you wish. If you are in Ausgtralia, then Booktopia is your source, or any of the Dymock’s stores that I visited in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. I left a trail of signed stock behind me. If you DONT live in Australia but in the US, you can still get a signed and/or personalized book by contacting the University Book Store in Seattle. The phone number is 1-800-335-7323 and if you get Duane on the phone, he can definitely help you. But if he’s not available, then chat with whomever you reach about getting a signed personalized book.

As of this writing at The Signed Page still has one copy of The Inheritance, my story collection from Subterranean Press. It’s a lovely book and the price is even reduced!

So those are my reminders for you! And I hope you enjoy this season as much as I do!
