. . . And I’ll be boarding a plane for New York City and New York Comic Con!
I will be at the convention at Javits Center on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday October 11, from 10 to 11, you can find me at the Random House booth, #2204, signing books and chatting with people.
And on Sunday October 12, I will be there again from 11 to 12. At 1:15, I and my fellow panelists (David J. Peterson, Garth Nix, Seth Fishman, Gail Z Martin, Patrick Rothfuss and Cinda Williams Chima) will convene for a panel on “How A Game of Thrones Changed Fantasy . . . Or Has It?” Immediately following the panel (about 2 PM) you will find us at Table 19, signing books.
In between, of course, I will be wandering about the convention, having a wonderful time and hoping to encounter readers! So if you see me there, don’t hesitate to stop me to chat.
But what if you didn’t get tickets to New York Comic Con and now they are sold out?
I hope I will still get a chance to meet you:
On October 13, from 11 to 1, Random House will be hosting a coffee Klatsch for readers who would like to drop in and spend some time chatting with Peter V Brett, Sam Sykes, Myke Cole, Simon Green, Naomi Novik and myself. Please RSVP by sending an email to Delrey@randomhouse.com, with your full name and the word RSVP in the message header. (This is so building security will recognize you when you arrive, and so we will have enough coffee!) We will not have books for sale, but there will be some free ‘first in the series’ paperbacks for us to sign and give to readers. So please do bring any books from home that you’d like signed as well.
I’m looking forward to my visit!
