Happy New Year to all!

And that is as much as I’ll say write now, as my nose is to the grindstone, correcting numbering errors on pages, collating files into one big file and otherwise making the book coherent.  Composed on three different computers due to location and travel, each file looks a bit different!  Not what I want to send to my editor.

More after the book has flown!  Wish me luck!

My friend introduced me to your books last summer and I completely fell in love with Fitz and the Fool. So far I’ve only read the Farseer and the Tawny Man trilogies, but I’ve got the Liveship Traders waiting in line for me to read. 😉 Thank you for being such an amazing author, the chemistry you created between Fitz and the Fool is beyond words.
    Love from Iceland,

  5. Happy New Year (from Canada)! I just finished Dragon Haven…might that new book you mentioned be the third of the trilogy? Hope so- LOVE that world.

  6. 😀 Well!! I feel like I’ve been immersed in another world for the past while having just finished the Tawny Man trilogy, fast on the heels of the Farseer Trilogy. Thank you so much. I feel like a changed person having been in that world of romance, love and devotion. I hope 2011 is everything you’re wishing for. Good luck.

It took me two days to read Dragon Keeper and another 2 to read Haven! Can’t wait for the next in the series. You are my favourite author… But I might see what Megan has to offer! Peace!

  15. Hi Robin – MASSIVE fan of ALL your books!!I really can’t wait for the third of the Rain Wild Chronicles to come out, have you any sort of idea when it will be out in the shops? Thank you for being such a fantastic author.
    Best wishes,
    Kim Hughes

  16. Hi Kim!
Well, the book is still just a bunch of twinkling pixels on a screen, so it has a long way to go before it turns into a real book. If we all wish on a star and hope for the blue fairy to come . . . oh, wait, wrong story!

Seriously, I think it will be at least a year before it comes out. My editors put a tremendous amount of work in before my manuscript turns into a book worth reading. And lest I forget, there are many many other people in those offices who contribute substantially to how that book finally looks.

Thanks so much for asking and for your interest! It keeps me writing.
