In the 2005 I go to another bookshop to meet Robert Jordan, and I know Jim Rigney, a very extraordinary man. Last week, it is the same wonderful experience with you. I’m sorry only because I cant stay with you, Sara and Chiara only a few time, but my little babies needs their mother. You are interested in Italian books? The most famous writer, obviously, is J.K. Rowling. Very famous are Terry Brooks and George R.R. Martin (terrific!), published by Mondadori, the biggest Italian publisher. Other writer published by Mondadori are Neil Gaiman, Ursula K. Le Guin with the Earthsea’s Saga, Robert Howard’s Conan adventures, Stan Nicholls, Robert Holdstock Mitago’s Saga, Sergej Luk’janenko and the Italian Licia Troisi. Mondadori’s writer of science fiction are Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, William Gibson and Dan Simmons. The most important publisher for fantasy books is Fanucci. Fanucci published your novels, Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time (terrific), Terry Goodkind, Naomi Novik, Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn Series (for me Sanderson’s books are terrific, he is translated only because he is writing the end of The Wheel of Time’s saga), Greg Keyes, Patrick Rothfuss, Philip K. Dick, Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere, Jude Fisher, Andreas Eschbach. Armenia published Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman and the Dragonlance series, R.A.
