interview at Pat's Fantasy Blogspot

I do interviews with Pat at his Fantasy Blog Spot on a fairly regular basis, usually one to each book that comes out. This one has a few questions about Dragon Keeper, but no spoilers.

So much to keep up with this time of year! Halls to deck, fruitcakes to douse with rum, lights to hang, shopping to do . . . Not to mention a collection of short stories to put the finishing touches on, and my story for the Warriors anthology to proofread.

Somehow it all gets done, and Christmas comes all the same.

Best wishes,

  1. Hi πŸ™‚

Thank you for the excellent interview at Pat’s.
It was great to learn more about the writing and yourself.
    Thank you for sharing.
Did you get the Michael Whelan painting for your first cover?
    Happy Holidays,

  2. “At one point in my career, at the end of a book, I would go through it page by page looking for the phrase β€˜it was as if’. “

That kind of info is pure gold to beginning writers who see writers like yourself as having sprung from the earth fully formed. It’s always nice to get a reminder that you had to work hard to get where you are.
