Re: another fan has added you

Hello!

I don't know that I'll get back to England or Scotland that soon, but I do hope to make another tour sometime.

Thanks for your kind words on the new book. It's always great to know that I reconnected with a reader.

Best wishes,

Robin

another fan has added you

Hello, I only just realised you have a Live Journal, doh! I've been a fan of your for years (which I guess isn't a surprise given my user name, hope you don't mind!). I've just read Dragon Keeper and it was brilliant, I am soo glad you went back to the Realm of the Elderlings.
Also, completely gutted that I missed you at your book signing in Glasgow, hopefully when Dragon Haven is realised you'll be back. :)

Manchester was great! But every time I've been to Manchester, it has been wonderful.

A visit to Cumbria--the world is so big and there are so many places I want to see. Since I returned from the UK and my week of being a tourist, I've made a resolve to visit all the local tourist spots that are right here in my home state.

Mt. Rainier is just a bit more than 2 hours away, and I haven't been there in YEARS. How silly is that?

And I stood in the Victoria and Albert museum, looking up with great pride at the Chihuly glass hanging overhead. Time for me to vist the Glass Bridge here in Tacoma, and take pride in our home town wonder's work all over again.

Not to mention the Washington State History Museum, the Tacoma Art Museum, and all the other wonderful stuff that's just a Saturday morning away. . .

Too long? Is there such a thing... I get traumatized anytime a story ends, I often wish they could go on forever.
Although, I suppose that it may interfere with deadlines and add bits of stress. *pat pats*

Here is wishing you a wealth of the most stringent resolve! ^-^

Robin,

After all my excitement I wasn't able to make your signing in Manchester due to being sent to Somerset with work on short notice. I found out after the event that people from my work did attend though and had a lovely time - and that has opened up a whole set of great lunchtime conversation. I had no idea so many people in my organisation are fans of yours!

On my way back from Somerset I splurged on your new hardback to make myself feel better. Definitely enjoying what I've read so far.

Glad you had fun over here. Avebury is wonderful. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Cumbria, I'd recommend a visit to Castlerigg stone circle near Keswick.

Best of luck with applying the bum glue.
